ABOUT THE AREA

About the Area

THE GROWTH STORY

Enterprise doesn’t have the immediate name recognition that a Summerlin or Henderson have. It has the growth story instead. The completion of the 215 Beltway through this corridor connected the township to the airport, the Strip, Summerlin, and Henderson in a way that made this previously underdeveloped valley stretch suddenly accessible, and development immediately followed.

What emerged is a mix of newer subdivisions, established neighborhoods, multifamily properties, larger lots, and still-developing areas.

AN ECONOMY THAT ISN’T BETTING ON THE STRIP

The southwest corridor’s employment base sets it apart from the rest of the valley: a major stadium nearby, a national data center campus, and an air carrier training center close by, or adjacent to, Enterprise.

Economic growth without immediate name recognition, until you check what’s actually headquartered here.

LIFE AROUND HERE

Retail followed residential development with unusual speed here: grocery anchors, restaurant chains, and service retail filled in across the Beltway corridors fast enough to make daily life convenient, even without Downtown Summerlin or The District’s more curated character.

Southern Highlands, the township’s most significant master-planned community, sets the clearest example of deliberate design in the southern part of Enterprise: a private golf course, guard-gated neighborhoods, and organized parks that the surrounding development benefits from by proximity.

Zip Codes and Architectural Styles

RELEVANT ZIP CODES

  • 89141: Southern Highlands, and surrounding south valley neighborhoods, with a mix of lower price-point homes as well.
  • 89178: Mountain’s Edge, the township’s other major master-planned community.
  • 89148: The northern edge of Enterprise, bordering Spring Valley, including the community’s edge nearest Rhodes Ranch just across that line.

ARCHITECTURAL STYLES

Enterprise’s newer construction runs Mediterranean and Spanish-influenced as the production-home default, the same palette found across most 2000s and 2010s Las Vegas Valley master plans . Southern Highlands’ premium tier shifts toward Contemporary custom estate work, and the township’s standard tract housing leans Transitional.

  • Mediterranean and Spanish-influenced, the dominant production-home style
  • Contemporary and Custom Estate, concentrated in Southern Highlands’ premium neighborhoods
  • Transitional, in standard tract housing throughout the township

NEIGHBORHOOD FEATURES

Neighborhoods

New Construction Still Underway
Large sections of Enterprise are still filling in with new construction, more than in most other parts of the valley. It’s one of the few communities where you can watch a subdivision go from bare desert to finished streets in a single construction stretch.
Rising Into Foothill Terrain
Enterprise’s southern edge climbs into low foothills, a change from the flat valley floor that covers most of the surrounding area. Streets built into that rise pick up elevation and sightlines.

THINGS TO DO

Things to Do

Town Square Las Vegas
An open-air shopping, dining, and entertainment complex on Enterprise’s northern edge, built in a walkable, village-style layout. A blend of national retailers and independent restaurants that’s popular across the valley.
Silverton’s Free Aquarium
The Silverton casino has a large saltwater aquarium visible right from the casino floor, next to a popular Bass Pro Shops location. Both are free to walk through, an easy activity to enjoy in your free time.
Exploration Peak Park
Known locally as Fossil Hill, with walking trails, picnic areas, and a western-town replica built for kids.
South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa
A locals-favorite resort at the valley’s southern edge, with a large bowling center, a movie theater, and equestrian complex with multiple competition spaces and extensive stall facilities.
