Southern Highlands traces back to a land exchange with the federal government, finalized in phases across 1996 and 1997, with one developer taking on the entire master plan. The community has carried one coordinated vision ever since. What began as raw desert in the valley’s southern foothills became a fully-planned community, built around a single championship golf course and opened at the turn of the millennium.
That single-developer origin shows in the details: consistent architectural review, coordinated landscaping, and infrastructure quality that most communities build up over decades. Southern Highlands built it in from the start.
